Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all treatments, rituals, and products offered at Lakeside Cottage. By booking a session or purchasing a product, you agree to the following:

 

Bookings & Payment

●All treatments are offered from a private, sacred space.

●Full payment is required to confirm your booking.

●Bookings are taken via Instagram DM unless otherwise stated.

●Appointments are only secured once payment has been received.

 

New Clients & Consultations

●Welcoming new clients begins with a 20-minute consultation, held in addition to your treatment time.

●This consultation allows space to discuss your intentions, skin, wellbeing, and any relevant information before your ritual begins.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

●A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

●Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend your appointment, will result in full payment being retained.

●If you are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, please contact me as soon as possible.

 

Late Arrivals

●Please arrive on time to honour your booking and the private nature of the space.

●Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, with the full treatment fee still applicable.

 

Health & Wellbeing

●Please inform me of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, or changes in health prior to your appointment.

●All treatments are complementary and are not a substitute for medical care.

●By booking, you confirm that you are responsible for your own health and wellbeing during and after the session

 

Energy Healing & Sound

●Reiki and Rahanni are gentle energy healing modalities offered to support relaxation and balance.

●Sound healing is only offered in combination with energy healing.

●Experiences may vary from person to person, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.

 

Products

●All skincare and ritual products are handmade with care and intention.

●Due to the nature of these products, returns or exchanges are not accepted unless the item is faulty.

●Please discontinue use if irritation occurs.

  • Pomengranate


    Rich in antioxidants, punicic acid and vitamin E, pomegranate seed oil is prized for its nourishing and rejuvenating properties. It helps to deeply moisturise the skin, supports a smoother, more supple complexion and protects against environmental stressors. Its antioxidant-rich profile makes it an excellent choice for skin that appears tired, dry or lacking radiance.

  • Prickly Pear

    Hydration and Moisture Retention:Prickly pear seed oil is rich in linoleic acid and vitamin E, which reinforce the skin barrier and lock in moisture. This helps prevent dryness, flaking, and tightness without leaving a greasy residue, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and combination skin

  • Calendula

    Calendula is a versatile herb that soothes, heals, and protects the skin while promoting hydration and tissue repair. Widely recognized for its ability to accelerate wound healing and reduce inflammation. Its triterpenoids, flavonoids, and carotenoids help stimulate collagen production. Calendula contains anti-inflammatory compounds that reduce redness, swelling, and irritation. It is particularly beneficial for sensitive or reactive skin, including conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea

  • Seabuckthorn

    Sea buckthorn is a nutrient-rich superberry that supports skin hydration, elasticity, anti-aging, and protection against environmental damage. Rich in Vitamins and Antioxidants Sea buckthorn contains high levels of vitamins A, C, E, and K, which act as antioxidants to protect skin cells from oxidative stress and premature aging. Vitamin C supports collagen production, improving skin firmness and elasticity, while vitamin E neutralizes free radicals and reduces inflammation. Vitamin A helps diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone, and vitamin K can reduce dark spots and brighten the complexion

  • Rosehip

    Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids, including linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid, which help maintain the skin’s barrier and prevent moisture loss, making it highly effective for hydrating dry or dehydrated skin. Its lightweight, non-greasy texture allows for deep absorption, leaving skin soft and supple without clogging pores

  • Meadowfoam

    Rich inantioxidants, including vitamin E, meadowfoam seed oil helps neutralize free radicals caused by UV rays, pollution, and blue light. This antioxidative action can slow the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promote cell regeneration, and enhance skin radiance
